Cacti
All our cacti are purchased from Abbey Brook Cacti Nursery, in Matlock Derbyshire owned by Brian Fearn one of the leading experts in cacti.
Brian is well known throughout the UK in cacti circles and holds many of the national collections at his nursery. Brian will be visiting the Garden Centre in the future.
Potting should be done every two years using a rich well drained compost - 3 parts houseplant compost 1 part grit. Top dress with sand or grit to prevent rotting around the base of the plant.
Pests: The main pest is Mealy Bug, which suck the sap and weaken the plant. The use of proprietary insecticides is recommended. |
